SYNOPSIS
Springfield, Ohio, is a town built on shared history—where everyone remembers who you were before you became who you are. For the Mahoney sisters, Jamie and Sarah, that past is inescapable. After years away, Jamie is pulled back home when Sarah mysteriously vanishes, leaving behind her young daughter and a life she fought hard to rebuild. Jamie expects grief, guilt, maybe even resentment. What she doesn’t expect is the nagging sense that the people closest to Sarah aren’t telling the full story. As Jamie digs deeper into the days leading up to Sarah’s disappearance, she uncovers contradictions, buried loyalties, and a quiet sense that someone is steering her away from the truth. Rumors don’t line up. Memories shift. Trust frays. And somewhere in that widening gap is the sister she’s desperate to find. In a town that keeps its wounds covered, Jamie must decide how far she’s willing to go to uncover the truth—and what it will cost when she does.
